Domains, hosting and email

Domain, website and email depend on one another: if the domain expires, the website disappears and messages stop arriving. We register the name, host the website and set up your organisation's mailboxes, and we handle the renewals so that this never happens through oversight.

Signs you need this

  • Nobody knows whose name the domain is in, or when it expires.
  • The website has been down before, and it was a customer who noticed.
  • Customers say that the organisation's messages land in their junk folder.

Domain, hosting and email are often bought in different places, from different suppliers. That is where the trouble starts: the domain was registered by a former employee, the hosting is paid for on someone's personal card and nobody knows where the email settings are changed. When one of them fails, the others follow.

We start by establishing what exists and who holds the access. We then correct whatever is wrong, document how the domain is configured and keep track of the renewals, the certificates and the running of the website. The three services work best together, but each one can also be bought separately.

Domain registration and management

We check availability, help choose the name and register .co.mz and international domains in your organisation's name. We configure the DNS records that send visitors to the website and messages to the right mailboxes, make the changes whenever a service moves elsewhere and renew on time, so that the domain never lapses.

Hosting for websites and web applications

We host the organisation's website and web applications on managed, monitored servers, with an SSL certificate installed and automatic backups. We apply updates, track performance and availability and, if something fails, restore the website from the most recent backup. The environment is sized to the traffic the site receives.

Email on your own domain

We create mailboxes on your organisation's domain and configure the records that help messages reach the inbox rather than the junk folder (SPF, DKIM). When your staff need more than email, such as shared calendars and files, managed cloud is the better fit.

How we deliver

  1. Survey

We establish where the domain is registered, who holds the access, where the website lives and how email works today.

  2. Registration and DNS

We register the domain if it does not yet exist and configure the DNS records for the website and email.

  3. Hosting set-up

We place the website on the server, install the SSL certificate and switch on automatic backups.

  4. Mailboxes

We create your staff's accounts and confirm that messages come and go without landing in junk folders.

  5. Ongoing care

We watch the website's availability, apply updates and handle renewals before they fall due.

What you keep

  1. A domain registered in your organisation's name
  2. A list of every DNS record and what each one does
  3. A renewal calendar for the domain and the certificate
  4. Credentials for the mailboxes and the domain registration
  5. Website backups, ready to restore
